Ciessevi's local area organisation
| Voluntary work is an expression of the related local area. In planning services, Ciessevi takes account and makes use of the strong roots of the local voluntary sector in the province of Milan. The Local Delegations Area oversees this aspect through the following instruments: Promoter Groups and Local Workshops for the Voluntary Sector. “Promoter Groups”: working groups formed by representatives of voluntary organisations, coordinating committees and advisory councils with a local presence, elected by the local voluntary sector in an assembly specially convened for the purpose, by Ciessevi members and by a member of Ciessevi’s Board of Governors (Resolution of the Board of Governors no. 23 of 2004). The task of the Promoter Group, through needs analysis, is to plan, organise and promote Ciessevi’s initiatives, activities and services in the local area in which it operates. “Local Workshops for the Voluntary Sector”: a place for building local community development actions through advice and planning in support of local voluntary organisations. | ||||
